|
If you recall, Microsoft has unveiled their new search engine, Bing. With recent announcement Bing is going to soon power the yahoo organic search results, so the competition is ahead of Google indirectly and google need to do some modifications in their search algorithm to give better search results in order to keep their market share of search.

Finally, google has unveiled their new version of search engine, which is being called “Caffeine”, just like next generation of search.
What is the major difference between old version and “Google Caffeine” version of Google? according to the google officials “This search is not only faster, but in some instances in our few tests, seems more capable of producing real-time results.”
According to Google blog:
With Caffeine, we analyze the web in small portions and update our search index on a continuous basis, globally. As we find new pages, or new information on existing pages, we can add these straight to the index. That means you can find fresher information than ever before—no matter when or where it was published.
So friends, enjoy “Google Caffeine” version of Google?

Its really great thing
Thanks for posting such an informative blog. Caffeine is much faster then its earlier version.
Hello Sukhdeepak,
In fact Bing is only the competition for Google…, so they are introduced this Caffeine very quickly.
Otherwise they might have take some time to introduce this.
Caffeine is much faster than earlier version…, this sounds good.
Caffeine really sounds good, and I totally agree with you of all the search engines, Bing is the biggest competitor to Google
it is said that google caffeine is very fast and smart, but i don’t feel any difference,,
Google Caffeine is Fast and smart, i agree why because
Previously Google crawling and indexing systems worked just as batch process, that is just like first it will crawl a set of pages, then process those pages and then the index process will starts, and all the documents in the batch had to wait until the whole batch was processed.
But in case of Caffeine, Google crawls a page, it processes that page through the entire indexing pipeline and pushes it live nearly instantly.
i don’t see significative changes
Haha
in fact me too have the same feeling, but we hope they done some thing to give better performance.
