Crystal Player 1.98, In Windows 7 All My Videos Played In Crystal Player Were Very Transparent (Solved)
|
Very recently i have shifted my system operating system to windows 7, usually i used to play all my videos in crystal player only. But crystal player 1.98 in windows 7 is not working like in windows xp. In windows 7 all my videos played in Crystal Player were very transparent, not only this you may get some problems with your subtitles too and i thought that Crystal player team have to release next verstion which will supports for xp and W7.
But i have the solution to fix this crystal player 1.98 to play videos in windows7 normally like in Windows xp, just follow the ins,
- Open Crystal player 1.98.
- There click on Options, which you can locate at top right ( activated in blue color )
- Now in options menu select goto VIDEO RENDERER, and Uncheck Allow YV12, like
- Thats you have done…, now you can play any video with out any issues in windows 7, just like in xp.

Hi
Thanx for this info! Works great!
Little side note: I only had this problem in a multimonitor environment, where the screen the player was playing in, has a ATI driver.. On the other monitors, the colors are normal…
Ya its very simple to solve,
but if we don’t know the way how to configure the options in win 7 it’s very tedious.,
Ohh my god in fact i have suffered with this problem so i want to make the others to aware of this issue.
Hope you enjoyed this
.., and enjoy the site
Yay! Thank you!!! ^_^
I had the exact same issue with CrystalPlayer and moving from XP to Win7, and this solved the problem!
I’ve been looking for a solution for ages!
THANKS A LOT!!!!
Dear my dear friend,
Crystal player 1.98 has this video transparent issue in Windows 7,
me also suffered about problem as i installed Crystal player in windows 7 for the first time..,
And after some searches i got through this issue and i wished to share for others
Any way thanks for your feed back, and keep visiting the site for some special and quality posts form str Team.
Hey Man,
I have another question to you regarding another problem with CrystalPlayer & Win7 x64… Maybe you’ve had the same issue?
I managed to solve the transparency issue with your help, but I’m also experiencing a problem of quality loss when resizing a video or watching it fullscreen.
Whenever I resize it there is obvious “pixelation” of both the video itself and CrystalPlayer’s on screen display (like the progress bar, volume, file name etc.). It’s all very jagged and pixelated. It’s like there is no compensation for resizing in terms of smoothing… it’s the same as if you took for example a small icon in gif format and stretch it x2, you’ll have just a big smudge of pixels… very similar here! (Hope you know what I mean)
I have an ATI HD4870 1024MB video card…
Any ideas?
Dear roman,
Ya i understood your problem, and its working fine from my end.., and i didn’t heard this before..,
