YouTube has released a new laboratory features, entitled feathers. With this, YouTube’s efforts to faster video streaming, through the elimination of the extra bells and whistles, but also with the use of advanced network technology, a normal YouTube video page. Its main purpose is to reduce delays as much as possible.
According to their announcement :
… is intended to serve YouTube video watch pages with the lowest latency possible. It achieves this by severely limiting the features available to the viewer and making use of advanced web techniques for reducing the total amount of bytes downloaded by the browser.

When using the feathers feature, many normal functions of YouTube are stopped, there is no ‘video from the user’ and not folding, you can not evaluate or comment on videos and other related videos. Also shape how much is lost.
Although the faster, load pages and videos, I personally do not have to ask it. But it does come in handy while watching 1080p high-definition video.
