MegaVideo is the popular video sharing website from Megaupload based in HONG KONG. They are different types of videos in their database, but they are not allowing the facility to download for free users.But through this trick once can easily download the videos from MegaVideo, in fact this is the old but works awesome, even in some sites and forums some frehsers are asking this question that’s why am going to share this one.
Just follow the steps i provided hear..
- Open the video link in the IE.
- Now click on Play button to play the video.
- It will show you the buffering…., just click on stop button.
- Then also it will continue its buffering so please wait untill all buffering is complete, once it completed the buffering process Tools –> Internet Options in Internet Explorer (IE).
- Click on Settings in Temporary Intenet Files
- Then you can find the button View Files, just click it.
- It will shows number of files with different extensions., and some of useless too..haha, but just find the file which is bigger in size, that is our required video file.
- Just copy and paste it in your computer, and enjoy
- You are done..!

hello thanks for the post, I suppose a walk trough video is to much to ask, so can you give us more detailed information. ex OS , web browser versions, tabs, etcs. I followed your steps but in my “temporary Internet files” the larger file is 19KB and the movie i buffered is 80minutes long.
this is what i did > Tools- Internet Options – General tab – Browsing History – Settings- View (then i arranged the files from larger to smaller ) is there something Im missing?
