I have visited some sites with lot of comments regarding getting GPRS settings for Airtel and some other networks too, but its very easy to surf the internet in our mobile Onida G720, if you are Airtel user just follow these setps.
- For Getting GPRS Settings in your mobile we have to send MO to some 52567 number, but Onida G720 is not compatible with the Airtel GPRS settings.
- It will send you the message some thing like “ Dear Customer, your Mirc G720 does not support automatic configuration of services. Please call 12118 for more details “.
- Just forget all, make sure that your mobile balance is more than 110 ( We are going to activate Airtel Unlimited Broadband @98/M ).
- Then just dial *567#.
- It will show you the simple menu to choose…
- Internet Activation
- Internet Deactivation
- Internet 2GB/ month@98
- More about internet
- Just press Reply button and type 3 and send it.
- It will prompt for the conformation, so just reply again, just to let whether you sure or not.
- Then they will charge 98Rs to words the activation of Unlimited Broadband per that month.
- Now just open your mobile Menu select on Games –> java –> There choose Opera Mini install that.
- Have fun………!!!!!!!

Ya first go to the person where you have been purchased this mobile.., if not just try for the service center in another city, and it think that would be better…!!

hello… am used opera mini in my onida g720 handset over last two months… but from past 1 week my opera soft is not opening… its loading till 80% and it will stuck there itself… please sugest me how can i overcome from this problem…

Am sure that your set is bit virus effected, as every time we used to connect to the PC.
Might be so., just don’t do any thing manually ok.
Just goto the service center and they will formate and reinstall the software.

actually there is no GPRS settings provided by the network providers for this Onida mobiles.., this is bit hassle.
But we can access the net directly without downloading the settings if your SIM is activated for Internet.
Just try it., i think Through Airtel its just 3min to access net in our mobiles..!
please go to the concerned net work service center office, they can do the settings, its a matteer of one minute.

Actually there is no PC suite for onida g720, we can access the net in the mobile itself.

still Onida team were not provided the PC suit for g720 model, actually we need to download the modem drivers for g720 to connect to the internet, and i tired a lot but no luck all are fake software…
so we need to wait for some more time, and my suggestion is better to discuss this in their technical forums.
I have purchase this mobile before some days but i don’t have any knowledge about GPRS setting, but this post have such very nice and beneficial information and i will try it.
