So mates, login as root user in ubuntu is a tedious job. I tried almost 15+ times to login as root but i failed, however i got through and want to share with this best way. As we know that in ubuntu we can login in two ways one in command rest one is in graphical way, so consider in graphical user environment, follow the steps…,
- Open Terminal.
- Just type sudo passwd root and press enter, hear (sudo = SuperUserdo ).
- Now it will asks for the password for current user, so just enter the current password and reenter again.
- Now exit the terminal.
- Now logout the current user, or restart the linux system.
- So we must enter through login screen, so there just select Other and in username press root and enter the password.
- Remember: Though there is root user exist, just select Other…, some thing just like the about step.
