How To Open Unknown File Types: OpenWith.org
|
In general when we downloaded some files form the net there may be some unknown file formates, then we have to search the net for related software to open theat unknown file formate. this is the time taking procedure. But this procedure is simple with OpenWith.org.
Openwith.org is free app which will help you to open the unknown File types. It’s a simple application, you can integrates with the Windows right-click context menu. No program available to open a certain file? No problem. Right click on the icon and choose How do I Open This? OpenWith.org will open and offer download links for free programs that can handle the file in question.
A massive list of file types are supported and include categories like archives, images, documents, audio files, disk images, and more – there’s a complete list on OpenWith.org. And one more thing is it’s much larger than the list offered by Microsoft’s Application Search, which Windows searches when you tell it to use the web service to find a program. It won’t, for example, tell you Firefox is what opens .xpi files whereas OpenWith.org will.
Openwith.org is a free program, and runs on 32-bit Windows systems only.

Thanks for the information, many time I get stuck with this problem, I usually check the solution on a web.
This is a nice tip. Though, I just upload things to Google Docs.
It views most of the formats and I can view my docs from almost anywhere, no need to carry them on a Pen Drive.
