Hope this will be the usefull information to all. Speed up folder browsing, you may have noticed that everytime you open my computer to browse folders that there is a slight delay. The reason behind this is Windows XP automatically searches for network files and printers everytime you open Windows Explorer so that it take some time to run this procedure every time, so to avoid this.
Just follow the steps:
- Goto start –> Control Panel –> Open ‘Floder Options’

- Click on View tab

- Deselect Automatically search for network folders and printers .
- Press Ok.
- You are done now goto my computers and check the browsing speed of the folders.
