Why i wrote this Article is, once i got transaction failure error when withdrawing money from ATM. Though i contact the customer care i didn’t get back my money, i requested the staff to check the transactions once but no use i lost 3000 INR. After i closed my account leave it. I think now you got the reason why i am writing this article. In fact i got money after 46 days it is not the matter i think.
Now it is easy to get the money, now RBI (Reserve Bank of India) has sent a circular to all banks on Jul 17, 2009 about Reconciliation of transactions at ATMs failure. As per that,the bank which the cutomer hold his account with, must return the money back to the account within 12 working days from the date of complaint. If the bank fails to do this, it has to credit 100 INR everyday after 12 days until they return the money.
So if you got any transaction failure errors immediately contact your bank customer care, and explain the situation. Keep the transaction receipt for reference & also note down the reference number for the complaint you registered. Hope no worries now!!
