We were just wondering how thin portable media players could get when this Newsmy XO came along. Its razor-thin 5mm depth and simple good looks belie its decent feature set, sporting a 1.5-inch color OLED display, FM radio, and $44 bargain basement price. So it won’t kill your pocket to own one.
It can play 2-4GB of AVI, MP3, WMA, APE, and FLAC with no problems, plus it’s a voice recorder and FM radio. I’d love to see what these XOs look like in person. The OLED-layered design could be quite striking (or quite unusable).
