Hi friends, this is my personal experience and review with the TATA DOCOMO, that i want to share with you, the tata docomo started may be 2 weeks back and i was very much interested to buy that sim and got it with a good number. the network specially far better than other networks and the voice clarity is excellent. I still use BSNL prepaid connection but after using this docomo i felt better than the BSNL.
As we know that, the problems regarding the cell networks in india, specially of BSNL, i accept that upto some distance the offers are better, but after i turned into DOCOMO i feel good in price and signal quality.i felt mind blowing because 1paise per call is excellent and Im sure its not like reliance we can rely on TATA they stick to their words and they do it. the std call too 1p/sec its interesting i think.If you add a package of 25 rupees per month then tata docomo to tata docomo, tata indicom, virgin is only 30ps/min ie. 2p/min it is only.
I think it is a revolution in mobile industry. hope this may create a good hype in the future too. they are giving free callwaiting, call forwading, voicemail docomo to docomo etc., overall i love TATA docomo. by by take care. Rajkamal Bigala, Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh.

Never go for Tata Docomo, they are the worst operators in India, a black mark on the TATA Brand name:
Read this:…Docomo has the dumbest customer care where people dont know what they are speaking..the services provided, the network, the quality of SIM cards is the worst you can get.
The incident that happened to me will reveal everything:Attracted by the advertisements and the tariffs that they oferred i wanted to switch to Docomo, so i got a new postpaid connection, they told it will be active in 24 hrs and it did so. Just made 4-5 calls calling up friends to notify them that i changed my number and thats it the SIM card they gave never worked.
Called up customer care and complained about this, they advised me to visit their service centre so that they will replace my SIM, which was 15 kms away from where i stayed. So I told them its not possible and i hardly used the new connection, they told they would send their executive with the new SIM card. After that i never received any call/executive.Then I waited for a weeks time, when I got a call from Docomo, first i throught they are going to replace the SIM, but to my surpriseit was a call regarding bill payment!!!I told them they still need to replace my SIM card as its not working from the time I took it. The guy promised me to replace it my 24 hrs……..and till now its been 3 months no one contacted me regarding the SIM card. But I would have got some 25-30 calls for bill payment query!!! and everytime i tell the same story and they will also tell that they would be replacing the SIM.
While this has been happening for 3 months I didnt know that they were billing me for the last 3 months for a SIM card which was not working!!! and to my surprise no one told me when they called. I asked them to cancel my card, the customer care couldnt understand and they apologised and again told that they would be replacing my sim card.
Now the last nail in the coffin, they have sent me a legal notice for paying the 3 months pending bill for a SIM connection which was not working right from the inception…I would not recommend any one to use Docomo, please beware only the prices are attractive not the services – you dont have proper network coverage, always there would be disturbances, the consumer care doesnt understand what the consumer wants to say, the company doesnt care for anything other than the ads and increasing customer base by doing such kind of cheap tricks…what for should one take the docomo connection??
Ya…, now a days every network seems like this.., the customer care guys are playing with the customers.
But only thing we have to consider is, what is our requirement thats it,
Don’t use SIM Cards beyond your requirement.

Third class service…3G is till dream for them..just lcaim ..false claim…actually you are not getting 100 Kbps and Tata Docomo is claiming for 21.1 Mbps..Do not bye Tata Docomo..Its a Black spot on Name of Tata…

tata docomo 2G internet is very slow.. it is worrest..
I’ve been using Docomo since almost 6 months and it is VERY good. The GPRS downloading speeds are unbelievable! National/local SMS is free *dunno about ISD* after the 1st msg. Docomo-Docomo call rates are VERY low .. For any ordinary student, it is the best!
I don’t need 3G or EDGE, so can’t comment about those.
The customer care service is generally alright except that they aren’t as well informed as they should be – they’ve never even heard about EDGE whereas Docomo offers that service *in TN*
