Few days back the Wordpress developers have released version 2.8.5 and this version is considered a security upgrade and this is mandatory for all Wordpress blog owners who run their own Wordpress blog. In fact the wordpress developers are calling this released a hardening release as it tightens Wordpress security to make Wordpress blogs more secure than before. But they are ready with next major version of WordPress, WordPress 2.9.
